White Kitchen Cabinets Chipping. Your painted cabinets chipping and peeling certainly wasn't part of the plan, but it happened almost as soon as you completed your kitchen renovation. Your kitchen is beautiful - and other than that small amount of chipping those white cabinets have held up wonderfully.
I just painted my entire kitchen cabinetry in Cyberspace- love the color but notice it's chipping off at the edges of the cabinets in the "high traffic areas" (i.e. around cabinet pulls).
They are showing a bit of wear around some of the handles, but I think that's to be expected.

You could, but you don't have to. Most kits will come with a few shades of a specific color. My daughter had hers spray painted by a cabinet maker and they're chipping like crazy!
