White Kitchen Grey Floor. Gray floors certainly are not something you see every day - especially in kitchens. The two are also combined in these kitchens in marble islands, making a bold statement right in the middle of the kitchen.
They make use of stools in this particular kitchen, and it's as vibrant as any white kitchen space could be. Unfortunately, the color gray is often associated with feelings of sadness. This kitchen does a great job of contrasting the dark cabinets with a bright white island and benefits from plenty of natural light.
I love the island above all else, but the cabinet design along with tall ceiling and light wood floors makes this one of my all-time favorites.
One area where it has become common is in kitchen cabinets.
In this kitchen by Amber Interior Design, the dark floors keep the space subdued. This is an effective trick for creating separate zones in an open-plan space. The kitchen island bar bar counter, however, paints its base with a pale blue color, and uses white solid surface for the countertop for a seamless counter.
