Unfinished Oak Cabinets. I do not want to add stain at all, I want to keep the oak in it's natural state! I will be using unfinished oak cabinets, and thinking about staining them white, rather than painting.

I have some unfinished oak cabinets that I need to stain, I'm sure I need to sand them first; however do I need to apply any wood conditioner to them and if I do will it affect the stain coloring.
